Eat That Frog!

"If the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning is eat a live frog, then nothing worse can happen for the rest of the day!"

Success is not a miracle. Nor is it a matter of luck. Everything happens for a reason, good or bad, positive or negative. When you are absolutely clear about what you want, you only need to copy others who have achieved it before you, and you will eventually get the same results that they have.

This is referred to in the Bible as the Law of Sowing and Reaping which says that, "Whatsoever a man soweth, that also shall he reap."

Sir Isaac Newton called it the third principle of motion. He said, "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction."

For you and I, the most important expression of this universal law is that, "Thoughts are causes and conditions are effects."

Put another way, "Thought is creative." Your thoughts are the primary creative forces in your life. You create your entire world by the way you think. All the people and situations of your life have only the meaning you give them by the way you think about them. And when you change your thinking, you change your life, sometimes in seconds!

The most important principle of personal or business success is simply this: You become what you think about most of the time.

It is not what happens to you but how you think about what happens to you that determines how you feel and react. It is not the world outside of you that dictates your circumstances or conditions. It is the world inside you that creates the conditions of your life.

There's an old saying: "If the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning is eat a live frog, then nothing worse can happen for the rest of the day!" That means your "frog" should be the most difficult item on your things to do list, the one where you're most likely to procrastinate; because, if you eat that first, it'll give you energy and momentum for the rest of the day. But, if you don't, and let him sit there on the plate and stare at you while you do a hundred unimportant things, it can drain your energy and you won't even know it.

Stop procrastinating! If you want to get organized, if you want to simplify your life, the answer is Eat That Frog!

People always leave - In loving memory of Ahmed Nimal -

Your loss leaves a void that cannot be filled. No one can ever take the place of you in the world. Cant comfort the family by saying that "it was his time anyway". These may be words of comfort later. However, there must be time to mourn the fact that things will never be the same. One minute he was here and now he is gone. I wrote this in loving memeory of Ahmed Nimal, my very close friend and my best friends little brother. He was much more than a friend to me, more like a real brother.  he was lost in the ocean, (kaashidhoo Kandu') one of the biggest and rough ocean in Maldives. Sunday 23rd january 2011 around 11:45am he massaged me saying he will be back in male' around 4pm, and around 1:12 i went to meet my best friend (His sister) and got the news of his lose... still not found and its difficult to believe...

That you finally got it your way
you left us here, without a farewell
leaving behind just your smell

everyone tells me to respect your decision
and understand that you fulfilled your mission
but they don't understand my pain
they don't know how it feels to be stuck under the rain

I finally saw your last SMS
I was hoping it would make me feel better
instead I miss you more
and your last words made me swore
"i'll be there around 4"
it made me wish you weren't gone
because I don't know for how long I can stay strong
I wish you had given me the chance
to take one last glance
at you face filled with love
before you fly away like a dove

rest in peace brother
I hope you will no longer suffer
I will be waiting for you in my dreams
to re-live all those beautiful memories.

When we lose something that is precious to us, we are left with a feeling of sadness. Whether it is a precious friend or even a treasured object, the loss can be hard to bear. It is as if a part of you has gone missing. Throughout our life we amass collections of friends and treasured possessions. Having close relationships help us feel as if we are not alone in the world. When we lose someone that is precious to us, we may realize that there is a certain aloneness that can never be filled. Ultimately the condition of life is one of being alone before G-d.
We cannot communicate with those who have passed to the other side, never the less their presence remains as long as they are in our hearts.

Be Responsible For Your Own Financial Security

There is no job security. You can’t rely on staying with the same company through retirement. Pension plans, when available, are woefully inadequate. Social security benefits won’t come close to covering your living expenses in retirement.

The only way to reach financial security is to plan for it now, regardless of your age. You have to define financial security in your own terms. Have you defined the amount of assets that you need for financial independence?

Financial security is that amount of assets that will give you a specific income, after taxes, to live like you want to, without having to depend on day-to-day employment.

Wealth is not only based on income, but also on expenditures. Are you spending or investing?  Are your purchases goal-achieving or tension-relieving? How do you use credit cards? Use your credit cards for services or purchases that retain their value or that build your business. Don’t use credit cards for vacations and personal entertainment, unless you plan to pay the entire balance in one or two months. Try to pay all your balances in full monthly. In this way, you avoid the ridiculously high interest payments. Realize that paying minimum balances, at high interest rates, means that you are paying two or three times what the original purchase was worth.

Most importantly, save at least 6 to 10 percent of your take-home pay each month, by writing a check into a savings account or mutual fund for that amount, as if it were a utility bill or house payment. The secret of most self-made multi-millionaires is compound interest. If parents saved one dollar each day for their newborn infant, by going without a cup of coffee, or a redbull, or a soft drink for that day, by the time the child reached age forty, he or she would have a million dollars cash. No lottery windfall. No brilliant investment strategy. Just compound interest, which Baron von Rothchild labeled “The Eighth Wonder of the World.”

Break the cycle

"Without involvement, there is no commitment. Mark it down, asterisk it, circle it, underline it. No involvement, no commitment."

In today's world we often find ourselves in cycles that are out of balance and detrimental to our success and happiness. Our income fails to balance our needs, so we enter a downward spiral of debt. The demands on our time exceed the number of hours available, so we sacrifice and stress over our choices.

It's time to break the cycle! It's time to stop living paycheck to paycheck and start putting our lives back into balance.

The answer to their problem is very simple...starting their own home based business, and more specifcially, a network marketing business.

Why do people buy great products only to let them sit unused and never move forward to achieve their dreams?

Pay close attention to the belief cycle he describes and see where you're at...

Belief enables potential, which produces action, which gets results, which reinforces belief, which actualizes more potential, and so on.

Unfortunately there is also a negative feedback loop...disbelief actualizes less potential which produces less results, which reinforces the idea that it wouldn't work anyway...less belief, so less potential realized.

Be a collector of good ideas, but don't trust your memory.

"There are three things to leave behind: your photographs, your library and your personal journals. These things are certainly going to be more valuable to future generations than your furniture!"

Keeping a journal is so important that Jim Rohn called it one of the three treasures to leave behind for the next generation.
He claimed that journal writing is one of the greatest indications that you're a serious student. He said, "It is challenging to be a student of your own life, your own future, your own destiny. Don't trust your memory. When you listen to something valuable, write it down. When you come across something important, write it down. Take the time to keep notes and to keep a journal."

Even one person can make an Impact..!! so why cant you??
